  The night market, as to what we know about, is a part of Malaysian life that it makes Malaysia as a unique country with unique cultures. The night market is held for at least once or twice in a week and held in an open area which is big enough for stalls to be set up. A fact it is that the night market is regarded as a shopping paradise by the community of Malaysian since it is a haven for those who are shopaholics. Furthermore, there will be many sellers come to set up their own stalls to sell their own various types of goods.

The night market usually starts at about 4:30 pm. It beings with the arrival of the sellers along with their equipments to set up their own stalls. The sellers will be setting up the stalls while the number of crowds started to pour in to the night market. Later, the night market will be crowded with so many people who strolled from a stall to another stall to buy what they want while the sellers are being busy with themselves doing bargains on the price of their own goods with the buyers.

There is a reason of why actually the night market is regarded or considered as a shopping paradise by most of the Malaysians. Firstly, of course, it is a sort of haven for those who are shopaholics because there will be various types of goods ranging from food to fashion items. The most popular thing when it comes to night market is food. A fact about the night market in which cannot be denied at all is the night market itself is popular because of the various and unique types of goods being sold around the market. You can buy yourself a Western food such as pizza, spaghetti and cakes and even Malaysian traditional foods which is amazing in how it taste like such as satay, 'assam laksa' and nasi kukus. That is what unique about the community of Malaysian where the cultures of Western and Eastern clashes judging by the liking of the Malaysian towards both Western and Eastern foods. Other than that, the night market is not only comes as a unique package with foods but with freshly produced goods type and fashion items too. Freshly produced goods which is mostly comes from the plantations and the ranches are being sold at the night market such as vegetables, fruits, fish and meat. Goods that come from the plantations and ranches are freshly produced and being sold at such price that is considered as cheap. Fashion items such as clothes, colourful beads and hair accessories can be seen around the market and the price is not too pricey.

The surrounding or the atmosphere of the night market is crowded with so many people and too busy. One cannot deny that the night market is so busy with the non-stop offerings by the sellers of the goods that they are selling. Loud music also can be heard at almost everywhere around the market.

The night market ends after 10 o' clock and the sellers started to dismantle their stalls while the number of the crowds started to dwindle. Everything would just turn back to normal where it used to be. The night market leaves behind a mess every time is being held and closed. The surrounding of the night market is messed up with a lot of rubbish to be found almost everywhere around the market in which if there is no action taken to clear up the mess, it would create such a filthy and disturbing surrounding around the market.
